The large 4″ screen that changes everything

The same plug & play spirit as the R36S, but with a 4″ 720×720 IPS panel and a 4000 mAh battery: the R36 Max offers extra comfort. SD card with preloaded OS, system already installed — just turn it on and play.

From NES to PlayStation 1, classics are displayed large, in a faithful 1:1 aspect ratio. Nintendo 64 and PSP remain reserved for lighter titles — we prefer to mention it.

The step up is called the R36 Max 2: same idea at 4.5″ and 1024×768, with an anti-glare panel, haptics and clip-on grips. The 4″ keeps two advantages over it — its square 1:1 screen, the exact shape of arcade games and 4:3 consoles, and six to eight hours of battery against four to six.
