The V17 Portable Arcade Machine folds a 17″ screen, two joysticks and twelve action buttons into a metal suitcase with latches. Its 9,000 mAh battery lasts up to 4 hours of play: open it, switch it on and play together, in the living room, the garden or at a friend's place.

Connect it by HDMI or VGA to play on a TV, monitor or projector; the picture comes out in 1280×720. The menu offers up to 29,800 games, with search by initial letter, pause, save for your progress and free button mapping. Two USB controllers and a USB hub take the game to 3 or 4 players.

Built-in 17″ screen: open the suitcase, power it, play. The TV is optional.

  2. Power it

    Plug in the mains adapter, or play on battery for up to 4 h.

    Optional: an HDMI or VGA cable connects the suitcase to a bigger screen.
