Yes. ArkOS 2.0 is already installed on the microSD card: turn it on and play, with no setup or connection to a computer.
It emulates the NES, Super Nintendo, Game Boy / GBC / GBA and Mega Drive perfectly, the PS1 and Neo Geo very well, and the Nintendo 64 and PSP in a more limited way.
The R36S has no WiFi. For the same 3.5″ pocket format with WiFi, pick the J36 Ultra; with a 4″ screen, the R36S Plus.
The 3200 mAh battery offers about 4 to 6 hours of play depending on brightness and the systems emulated. USB-C charging.
The microSD card capacity: the larger it is, the fuller the game library. The rest of the hardware is identical.
No: the console is managed via the microSD card. ArkOS automatically organizes games by system, with no software to install.
