The R36H, only bigger
The R36H Pro Max keeps what makes the R36H — the Rockchip RK3326 chip, ArkOS 2.0 and the controller-style grip — and moves up to a 4.2″ IPS screen at 1024×768, fully laminated under 2.5D glass. Bigger, sharper, still pocket-sized. The microSD card is ready to use: power on, pick your system, play.
NES, Super Nintendo, Game Boy Advance, Mega Drive, Neo Geo and arcade run without any setup, and PlayStation 1 runs very well. Nintendo 64 and PSP are limited to lighter titles.
Built-in WiFi brings two-player games over a local network and system updates without a computer. To see what runs on this kind of card, read our guide to the retro game console with built-in games, or compare the whole range of handheld retro gaming consoles.
